Who hasn't dreamed of winning the lottery? This book takes a statistical approach to predicting what numbers are going to be called in the next lottery, based on what numbers were previously called. It does require you to do some math, and I'm not a huge math person, but I found it to be doable so anyone can do the math. Don't be scared by the math on the cover...it's not that hard. I actually really enjoyed the process of selecting my numbers based on the criteria this book lays out. It made playing the lottery more fun, and I will always do this formula before selecting any numbers. I'm not a huge player, but I find it entertaining every now and then.If you play the lottery at all, this book is a must because it helps to increase your odds of winning.

Book is well written. But if there are more examples to illustrate how it work, it will be much better
book could have been summarized in a few sentences. A pamphlet would have been more appropriate. Lots of promises and nothing which a 5th grade student could have reasoned out.
I was looking for algorithms which would have shed light on unexplored patterns. Instead, in the first chapter, he states that everything is based on probability and that there is no magic formula. Nice of the author to explain that right from the beginning.
Don't waste your time and money. While we all understand that the lottery is 90 percent luck, it would be nice to read that a 'Professor' had a little better understanding than the layman. Disappointing .
The author is more of a story teller than giving the reader a"smart" system using probability and statistics to play the lottery. He gives us an easy statistic method (#1) but refuses to expand on method(#2), giving a very lame excuse or alibi for not doing so. Maybe he wants more money from every reader who's got his interest on method #2. Well, I'm not buying.
One of the best books on increasing your chance to win money playing Powerball. Gives a clear understanding of probability as applies to the game. Immediately useful information with recommended methods for choosing tickets.
As someone who has taken a couple of graduate courses in statistics I can say I like the approach of this book. I've read a lot of books about lotteries but all of them have shoddy or false ideas behind them. That is why I can't recommend this book enough for anyone who is interested in actually giving themselves an advantage.
